Join Joey for a down-to-earth presentation of the Ashtanga methodology. During the workshop we will explore how to use the Ashtanga method to turn the attention inwards and experience inner peace.
The weekend will include small group Mysore-Style practice in the mornings and technique classes in the afternoons. In the Saturday technique class the focus will be on creating length at the waist to facilitate backbends and on Sunday we will work on inversions and pranayama (breathing techniques).
Suitable for students with a minimum of one year’s regular yoga practice. Yoga practitioners of any discipline, (not only students of ashtanga yoga), are very welcome to join the Saturday and Sunday afternoon technique classes.
