Join Joey for daily Ashtanga Mysore-style self-practice and three afternoon workshops.
Each weekday morning will begin with 30 minutes of meditation before beginning postural practice. Joey will give some instructions but it will not be guided all the way through; this is suitable for all levels of meditation experience. After the morning meditation, there will be a Mysore-style self-practice class, where students work independently on the sequence, practicing the poses up to the point which they have been taught.
Contemplation and connection – a chance reflect on your reasons for coming on retreat, your yoga practice and connect with others on the course
Emphasis on extending the front body (backbends)
Emphasis on the shoulder girdle and inversions.
